I use NuVet Plus immune system builder for my Puppies and Dogs. This is an excellent vitamin. I also use Breeders Edge Supplements for prenatal, and nursing Mother Dogs. I use Bravecto, Heart guard & Triple Wormer for my adult dogs and pups over 4 months. The Puppies receive dewormer at 2, 4, 6 & 8 weeks, as well as first DHPP Vaccine at 8 weeks. I do not use lepto in my vaccines & do not recommend my puppy families do either.

I am very selective in breeding, only choosing lines with a low risk of genetic issues or other health problems. I breed for temperament & health.
I will provide scheduled video chats at buyer request & updated photos at birth, 2,4 & 6 weeks. Due to health & safety concerns for our puppies, we do not allow in home visitation. However, I am happy to video chat with any new prospective clients!
All puppies will be microchipped, current on age appropriate vaccinations/worming when they leave. All of our dogs are AKC registered. We began socializing our puppies early using both Puppy Culture & BAB curriculum. I start puppies on crate training & potty training before they leave to their new families, though they should not be expected to be fully trained.

Puppies can only be held with a non-refundable deposit of $300 payable via Zelle, PayPal, Apple pay, Good dog or Venmo.
Here is how our Waitlist works: We require a $300 non-refundable deposit to be put on our waitlist. Once a litter is born we will notify everyone in the order of deposits received, we notify via text message or FB Messenger, (if you fail to respond within 24 hrs we move on to the next person on the waitlist). If no puppy is picked out of that litter, then we will notify you when the next litter is born- up to 1 yr from deposit placement. No refunds will be given if you change you're mind, decline the puppy offered to you, find a puppy elsewhere or are unable to take a puppy for any reason.
​The waitlist deposit does NOT secure price! Prices are subject to change. A puppy price is secured once the buyer picks a puppy and makes a deposit to hold that particular puppy. The Deposit is non-refundable and included in the overall price. For deposits we accept Good Dog, Zelle, Apple pay, Venmo and Paypal.
Selected puppy will be pending until deposit is received. Deposit must be received within 24hrs or selected puppy will be forfeited unless arranged otherwise. Selected puppy must be paid in full by 8 weeks of age. If selected puppy is not paid in full by 8 weeks of age, the deposit is forfeited and the puppy will be forfeited unless prior arrangements have been made.
Puppies will go to their new homes at 8 weeks of age. We understand that things come up so we will hold puppies for up to 4 additional weeks with full payment & for an additional $100 per week, if arranged prior.

We guarantee your puppy will be healthy at the time of purchase to the best of our knowledge, and at the time of sale. To keep this warranty valid, the dog must be examined by a licensed vet within 72 hours (excluding Saturday and Sunday) of receipt of the puppy. If the vet finds any life threatening health problems this dog must be returned immediately to the breeder, (within 48 hours) accompanied by a certificate statement from the vet for replacement. If a replacement puppy is not available at the time of return, one will be made available as soon as reasonablly possible. There are absolutely NO REFUNDS!
All veterinary expenses are the responsibility of the BUYER. If your puppy should die within 72 hours in your care, an autopsy from a State Veterinary Lab is required for post mortem testing to determine cause of death including genetic testing at buyers expense for replacement of the puppy.
No guarantee is made as to disposition, conformation, or breeding ability. It is impossible to accurately determine adult size of any puppy therefore; we cannot give any size guarantee. Size estimate is based on the size of the parents. Lost Creek Dachshunds makes no guarantees or warranties regarding the puppy’s size, color, temperament, breeding ability or training.
Common parasites, fleas, ticks, worms, mites, COCCIDIA, GIARDIA etc. are not cause for replacement, as they are not genetic problems. The breeder will NOT pay associated vet bills that may occur from any of these findings, period. We make every effort to make sure that your puppy is healthy and free of parasites.
Many of the common findings mentioned above are a result of stress with going to a new home and do occur when puppy has otherwise been healthy at breeders. Although we worm & vaccinate on a regular schedule at Lost Creek Dachshunds. We do not guarantee you will be able to show the dog. We do not guarantee this dog will be breeding quality. We breed to the best of our knowledge using health testing & genetics as a guide. No cash refund will be given under any circumstances.
If the buyer fails to communicate and or pick up their puppy, the buyer abandons their puppy and the puppy then becomes available for resale, all monies paid by the buyer are non refundable nor transferable at failure of pick up. The sale at that point is considered null and void, and no refund will be made. If the buyer decides he or she can not keep this puppy for any reason the puppy will be returned to Lost Creek Dachshunds. This puppy will never be sold.
I have read, understand, and agree to these terms and limitations. I consider this to be a legally binding Document. Possession of puppy by it’s new owner implies agreement with this contract. I also understand that ​All deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE. All monies paid are NON-REFUNDABLE, but transferable up to 1 year.
